Paula Malcomson is an actress from North Ireland. She is best known for playing “Trixie” in Deadwood (2004–2006), “Maureen Ashby” in Sons of Anarchy (2010) and “Abby Donovan” in Ray Donovan (2013–2017). Malcomson has also featured other numerous popular films and series, making a name for herself in the industry.

Paula Malcomson biography

Paula Malcomson was born on June 1, 1970, in Belfast, North Ireland. At the age of 15, she left home to explore Europe. In 1991, she finally settled in New York City, United States of America.

Paula Malcomson career

Malcomson began her acting career in 1992. She made her film debut, playing a bartender in Another Girl, Another Planet (1992). The following year, she appeared in Tombstone. However, Malcomson did not get her breakthrough role until 1999 when she starred in the Oscar-nominated film, The Green Mile (1999), and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001).

In 2006, she starred as “Trixie” in the HBO series Deadwood, and “Colleen” in ABC’s Lost. She also played the role of “Amanda Graystone” in the Battlestar Galactica spin-off series Caprica. Malcomson played the role of “Maureen Ashby” on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, and the long-suffering “Abby Donovan”, wife of the title character in the Showtime series Ray Donovan.

In addition, Malcomson has starred in other popular films like The Hunger Games and the television series, Fringe.
